Proofreading Professors offers proofreading and editing services for a variety of documents including academic papers, professional dossiers and portfolios, CVs/resumes, business reports, and more.

• You will receive an edited copy of your document in which grammar mistakes, typos, and spelling errors have been corrected. This may also include formatting and structural edits to improve clarity and flow. 

• You will also get a "tracked changes" copy of your document. This will allow you to review and see all of the proposed changes that have been made, giving you complete oversight for your final document. 

• When warranted, we may also provide a brief summary and/or in-text suggestions to help improve the writing and the content, along with comments that pinpoint any issues or major concerns with the document.

Our general fee is $0.045/word for 24–48 hour turnaround.

Example: A double-spaced, 6-page paper contains approximately 1250 - 1500 words (12 pt Arial font, 1 inch margins). The approximate cost for a paper of that length would be $56.25 to $67.50.

(When counting words, only include the main body text. Do not include the paper's title, text from figures, reference section, or footnotes.)

The turnaround time for proofreading a document depends on the size and complexity of the document. However, we strive to provide a fast and efficient service, and most documents are returned within 24-48 hours.

We began as a group of colleagues who witnessed firsthand rapidly increasing anxiety levels in our students due to burgeoning demands and decreased resources.  Lack of access to their busy professors compounded the problems and left many students questioning if they belonged at college.  We are just now realizing the impact of the pandemic on student preparedness and state of mental health. Many of us began to spend countless extra hours helping students (and colleagues) trying to "catch up" to where they felt they needed to be.

Upon speaking with colleagues at other universities we began to see that this was a severely wide-spread problem.  After much deliberation, we decided to form our group to try to help struggling students realize their potential.  We are a small cohort that is dedicated to helping as many students as we can...without gouging them with the high prices we saw many sub-standard services charging desperate students.

Our team of full-time professors from top universities and colleges are experienced professionals who are passionate about our work. Our focus is on helping students develop their skills so they can feel confident about their work.
